Biography:

Dr. Osvaldo Gonsa is the Head of the Wireless Signal Technologies group by Continental AG in Frankfurt. He has a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Yokohama National University in Japan (1999) and holds an MBA from Kempten School of Business in Germany (2012). Dr. Gonsa has a long carrier with telecom equipment manufacturers and operators, and worked in standardization in the areas of core and radio access network. He is holder of numerous patents and is co-author of several books. Since 2015, Dr. Gonsa leads Continental’s effort in the area of mobile communications for Connected Car and Autonomous Driving where he also has had a role as advisor to the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy for the “Digitale Technologien für die Wirstschaft (PAiCE)” projects evaluation.
