Connected City Advisory Board (CCAB)
The Connected City Advisory Board (CCAB) develops, shares and promotes thought-leadership and practical framework for the social and economic development and sustainable operation of the Connected City ecosystem.
Its Mission is to build awareness, advocacy and global availability of Connectivity guided by the leadership of Connected Cities. These Cities will guide and mobilize the industry through the adoption of standards and best practices as defined by the shared knowledge of the CCAB.

World Wi-Fi Day
World Wi-Fi Day is a global initiative which runs through the year with the aim to help bridge the digital divide. On the 20th June we celebrate the day with the purpose of raising the profile of Wi-Fi and its importance to the global economy as well as our unconnected citizens. Initiatives of the program include:
- City Wi-Fi Roaming Project – An initiative to allow users to roam across multiple networks from different providers in various cities across the globe
- Case studies from around the globe illustrating how different towns and cities are addressing the digital divide
- Celebration Offers from our various partners that promote free Wi-Fi access on 20 June and beyond
- Opportunities to invest in projects that connect the unconnected

The WBA’s event activity comprises the Wireless Global Congress series, regular Members’ Conferences, Vision Forums, and high-level involvement in a wide range of global events.
